As LRTA confronts the impacts of a national staffing shortage, we are working hard to address these challenges effecting our daily operations. Despite our best efforts, the number of qualified drivers available to work continues to decline.
LRTA has examined each route and determined it necessary to make adjustments to the timetables and frequency of our weekday schedule effective January 3, 2022.
LRTA Saturday service will remain unchanged.
While the decision to modify service was difficult, we believe it is necessary in order to continue providing the safe and reliable service that our passengers depend on, throughout all of our communities with minimal disruptions.
Once we have addressed our staffing challenges, we will resume regular service.
