Testimonial from Thomas J. Golden, Jr., Lowell City Manager

The Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) has been an invaluable asset to the City of Lowell,” says City Manager Thomas A. Golden, Jr. “The LRTA provides services to businesses and residents that continue to improve quality of life for everyone. One example is the Road Runner service, which is the ADA paratransit for disabled residents. This service has made accessibility to city-wide transportation easier for many residents. Another example is the partnership with UMass Lowell’s shuttle service, which provides students a safe way to travel between the university’s campuses. In a city as large as Lowell, it is so important to have a quality transportation system, and we have that with the LRTA.
