Road Runner Senior Services
The LRTA Road Runner Senior Service is a curb to curb
Paratransit service available to residents within the LRTA
service area and who are 60 years of age or more. All of the
Road Runner services are shared ride services intended to
safely and efficiently transport as many passengers at a time
as possible. Reservations must be made at least two business
days in advanced. Please be advised that all customers must be
registered with Road Runner prior to transportation arrangements being made.
The service can be used for many purposes including work,
medical, shopping, social and recreational reasons depending
on the service area.
Road Runner provides services to residents in Acton,
Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Groton, Lowell, Pepperell,
Tewksbury, Townsend and Westford. Hours of operations vary
between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday
depending on the service area. All services are provided with
wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Road Runner ADA Paratransit Services
Road Runner ADA Paratransit services are provided as required
by the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990. This curb to
curb Paratransit service is available to persons with
disabilities who are unable to use the LRTA fixed-route bus
service.
Eligibility is required before using the Road Runner ADA

Boston/Burlington Road Runner Service
On Wednesdays the Road Runner Service makes a trip to the Lahey Clinic in
Burlington and to Boston area hospitals. This service is available to Road
Runner eligible residents of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury
and Acton.
L.I.F.E. Program
L.I.F.E. Program (Living is for the Elderly), is a specialized transportation
service for residents of the LRTA service area nursing homes. This unique Road
Runner service offers transportation for trips and Special events. For details

Statewide "Transportation Access Pass"
The Statewide "Transportation Access Pass" applications are available through
the LRTA Road Runner Office. If you are disabled or if you are eligible for the
LRTA ADA Road Runner Service, you may be eligible for a Statewide
"Transportation Access Pass." This photo ID entitles you to special reduced
fares offered by the Commonwealth's 15 Regional Transit Authorities. Call (978)
459-0152 to obtain an application form.

Please print out the application; fill it out and have it signed by your
physician.

To Use Road Runner
To schedule a trip with Road Runner please call between the hours of 8:00 A.M.
and 3:00 P.M., at least two business days in advance before your trip.
When making reservations passengers are required to provide pick-up/appointment
as well as return times. Passengers are also required to provide the exact
mailing pick-up and drop-off addresses. Trips can not be booked without this
information.
Call as early as possible to ensure availability for all LRTA Road Runner
Services.
