Services for Seniors & Disabled Patrons

The LRTA offers a variety of services for Senior and Disabled Patrons including fixed route bus service, shared-ride van services, and other special services for those who qualify.

All residents within the LRTA’s service area are eligible for fixed route services.  Please see the LRTA’s Fixed Route Page for Senior and Disabled Patrons to learn more about discounts and service provisions.  For fixed-route inquires, please call (978) 452-6161.

Based on eligibility, age, and your home location, you might be able to receive additional services from Roadrunner, the LRTA’s paratransit service operation.  For inquiries related to Roadrunner services, please call (978) 459-0152.

The Roadrunner ADA Paratransit Service provides service to residents who are disabled as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Roadrunner Dial-A-Ride Service provides shared ride services for seniors in conjunction with various Councils on Aging in the Greater Lowell area for residents over 60 years of age.
